Your cosy retreat in Burrawang.
The first thing you notice is the light.
It streams through expansive glass windows, making the whole house feel fresh and alive – like the Southern Highlands itself has wandered inside.
Next, you'll notice the garden. Lush and green, it changes with every season: blossoms in spring, a blanket of red and orange in autumn, still and crisp and beautifully bare in winter. The cherry tree out front is its own spectacle – an ever-changing wonder worth watching all year round.
Inside, the vibe is cosy and modern – a warm, considered alternative to the traditional Highlands aesthetic. Furnished by local interior designer Opal and Oak, the interiors are soft, tactile and full of thoughtful touches. It's the kind of space that just feels good to be in, any time of day.

Step outside and you're in Burrawang, one of the most charming villages in the Southern Highlands. Wander along tree-lined streets with farmland stretching in every direction. The iconic and recently restored Burrawang Village Hotel is a short stroll away.
Everything the Southern Highlands is famous for – Bowral, Berrima, the wineries, the walks – is all within easy reach. But we couldn’t blame you if you decided to stay tucked away for your entire stay.
